Accordingly, the project to arrange commune-level administrative units in Tuyen Quang province for the period 2023-2025 with the plan to merge Hong Lac commune and Van Son commune to establish Hong Son commune in Son Duong district is being implemented.

Son Duong district organized a consultation with voters in administrative units directly related to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in accordance with current regulations. In particular, 100% of voters in Hong Lac and Van Son communes agreed with the plan to merge the two communes.

The arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels is associated with innovation and organizational arrangement of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently. Thereby continuing to streamline staffing, restructure and improve the quality of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
