Comrade Khong Thi Tan, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: "The commune has 43 households in 10 villages who are poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties, supported to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses according to the project, of which 40 new houses were built and 3 houses were repaired. Following the spirit of the district's direction on the 7th working day towards the community, the commune focused on forces such as the youth union, militia, police, women's union to help people build houses, regardless of holidays".

In the process of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the commune, many villages have organized good and creative ways to widely implement them. Comrade Ta Van Thuan, Party cell secretary and head of Kim Son village, shared: “The Party cell and the village Front Committee have come to each household to mobilize them in the spirit of “whoever has something to contribute, whoever has meritorious deeds to contribute, whoever has property to contribute, whoever has a lot to contribute a lot, whoever has a little to contribute a little”. Each household in the village that builds or repairs will receive support from the people for 20-30 working days; brothers and sisters in the family whose members are building a house will mobilize support in cash or materials. The village has also established a group of construction workers to support households building houses”.

To date, Chan Son commune has 25 households that have completed and are building houses, with a support budget of over VND1.3 billion, of which 7 new houses have been completed, 3 houses have been repaired, and 15 houses are under construction. In addition, the commune also mobilized people and political organizations to join hands to support over 500 working days of leveling the ground, digging foundations, and dismantling houses; the District Fatherland Front Committee organized "3 together" activities to help households build houses. The commune is determined to complete the construction and repair of 43 houses according to the project by June 30, 2025.

Each house built and completed in Chan Son commune has helped poor households and households with housing difficulties have stable housing, feel secure in working and production, and escape poverty. At the same time, it contributes to maintaining and improving housing criteria in the commune's new rural construction criteria.
