Binh Xa Kindergarten was recognized by the Department of Education and Training as a school that achieved level 2 educational quality accreditation.
In 2015, Binh Xa Commune was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting new rural standards. In 2022, the locality continued to be recognized as a commune meeting advanced new-style rural area standards.
With the attention and investment of the province and district, more than 60 km of main roads, inter-village roads, village roads, and alleys have been hardened; 100% of village roads and alleys have been equped lighting systems; commune health stations and schools have met national standards; 100% of villages have cultural houses; average income per capita has continuously increased over the years.
The most outstanding feature in the process of building a model new rural area is that Binh Xa commune has chosen education as a model, fundamental and key criterion.
Since 2021, with local resources and the joint efforts of the people in the spirit of socialization, the commune has invested more than VND20 billion to build spacious and modern classrooms with full functional rooms and synchronous teaching equipment, helping to improve the quality of teaching and learning for 3 kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the locality.
Up to now, Binh Xa Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School have met national standards at level 1; the rate of mobilizing 3-year-old children to attend class is 42%; the rate of mobilizing preschool-age children to attend class is 100%; the rate of mobilizing 6-year-old children to attend grade 1 is 100%; 100% of 5th graders complete primary education program to enter 6th grade; the rate of young people and teenagers aged 15 to 18 studying general education or continuing education, vocational secondary education is 98% or higher; the rate of graduating from junior high school is over 95%.
In addition, in recent times, the commune has mobilized people to be proactive and actively change agricultural production methods, improve labor productivity; effectively implement mechanisms and policies to support production; encourage the establishment of cooperatives, develop production models according to VietGAP, organic standards with traceable product origin, effectively promote existing OCOP products as well as the potential and strengths of the locality.
To date, the commune has more than 150 companies, enterprises, cooperatives and individuals producing, trading, raising livestock and growing crops on a large scale, contributing to creating jobs for more than 2,000 rural workers; The commune has 3 OCOP products meeting 3-star standards, etc.
The average income per capita has continuously increased over the years, reaching VND56.1 million per person per year in 2023, 3 times higher than in 2015; the poverty rate in 2023 will decrease to 4.1%.
In August, the commune will hold a ceremony to recognize the commune as meeting the model new-style rural standards. This is not only the pride of Binh Xa people but also a source of motivation and inspiration for many other localities in the process of building new rural areas.
