NA Vuong Dinh Hue has a working session with the local authorities.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Son reported on the results of implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring the defense and security as well as Party building, political system in the first 4 months of 2021 and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

The province has established 2,400 organisations in charge of elections. Election committees at all levels have fixed 912 constituencies, including 3 constituencies for National Assembly deputies, 14 units to elect provincial People's Council deputies, 56 units to elect district People's Council deputies, 839 units to elect communal People's Council deputies. The whole province has 1,342 polling stations to vote for 3,330 delegates. In which 6 members of the National Assembly, 55 representatives of the provincial People's Council, 237 representatives of the district People's Council, and 3,032 representatives of the communal People's Council.

The work of communication and propaganda about the election has been strengthened, with many diversified and effective forms. Health and social security, order and safety (especially Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control) are ensured.

The province proposed to the National Assembly Standing Committee to concern, facilitate and allocate investment capital from the central budget to the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period for 2 projects, including: Project of preserving, renovating, restoring and promoting the value of Tan Trao Special National Historical Monument in association with tourism development by 2025 and Project on constructing Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital. The province also proposed the National Assembly Chairman to support the investment policy of building Ha Giang - Tuyen Quang highway connecting with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho and Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway.

Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the election preparation of Tuyen Quang province. He requested that the province should have a best scenario to suit the evolution of the Covid -19 pandemic and continue to fulfil the "dual task" of fighting against the epidemic and promoting socio-economic development.

Earlier, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and his entourage visited the polling station at Election Unit 2 in An Tuong Ward, Tuyen Quang City.
