Vy Van Luong in Khau Tinh village, Khau Tinh commune (Na Hang) takes care of the horses.
Chairman of Khau Tinh Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Hung shared that, Khau Tinh village now has more than a dozen households raising white horses instead of the inefficient cattle-raising model.
According to Vy Van Luong in Khau Tinh village, Khau Tinh commune, the white horse's food source is grass, tree stem, corn, etc. Every year, his family sells 4 to 5 white horses and earns nearly VND300 million.
Contrary to many people raising white horses in barns, La Van Thuy in Khau Tinh village develops a model of raising horses by natural grazing. He chooses patches of grass near streams and clean water source to feed the horses. Every month, he regularly gives his horse vitamins to increase the horse's resistance.
Currently, many people in Khau Tinh village are experimenting with guinea grass as a food source for white horses, so that horse breeding can be developed, contributing to improving the living standards of people in Khau Tinh.
