Promoting brand of Tuyen Quang agricultural products

TQO - Building and developing product brands plays an important role in the production, enhancing added value for enterprises, cooperatives and business establishments. This activity has been interested by Tuyen Quang province in line with the province's strength in commodity development.

In 2022, 36 products of Tuyen Quang province were supported branding, packaging design, and traceability stamps with a total budget of over VND3.35 billion. In which, 25 out of 36 products were recognized as OCOP products with 3-stars or more standards.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Bui Minh Hai, said that branding for the key agricultural products is one of the task of the province, contributing to improving product value and increasing competitiveness in the market. At the same time, it gradually changes the awareness of people and businesses in production according to value chains.

In 2022, basing on the appraisal results and proposals of the Department of Science and Technology, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province allows 37 organizations to use place names to compile dossiers for registration of trademarks and geographical indications for 38 products.

To sum up, building and developing product brands helps businesses and cooperatives develop sustainably as well as expand the market through many different channels.
