Phu Hai grapefruit usually flowers in early spring. By the end of autumn, the grapefruit begins to ripen yellow, ready for harvest. The average grapefruit weighs from 1.5kg to 2kg, creating a grapefruit variety with its own quality and distinctive aroma.

Chairman of Hoa An Commune People's Committee Ha Cong Cuong, said that realizing the potential and advantages from the development of Phu Hai grapefruit, the commune has actively communicated and mobilized people to expand the area of grapefruit growing. To date, the commune has nearly 20 households planting grapefruit with an area of over 15 hectares, concentrated in the hamlets of Lang Ren 1, Lang Hoi, Lien Ket, Chang Thuong, etc.
This year, the output of grapefruit in the commune is estimated at over 50,000 fruits. The current selling price in the garden is VND20,000 per fruit. Many households have applied the Vietgap process, ensuring the creation of delicious and safe grapefruit quality products for consumers.
At the Tuyen Quang Trade and Tourism Fair 2022 held in early September, the Phu Hai grapefruit product of Hoa An Agriculture and Service Cooperative was displayed for sale at the fair and was highly appreciated by tourists.
Currently, the Division of Agriculture and Rural Development of Chiem Hoa District is completing the necessary documents and procedures to submit to the evaluation council for approval of 3-star OCOP products. This is a condition to promote and expand the market for citrus fruit products of the commune. Thereby, opening up many opportunities for economic development, increasing people's income, and contributing to the economic development of the commune.
