Na Hang District applies mechanisation to agricultural production

TQO - Na Hang District is striving to cultivate over 1,459 hectares of rice and over 10 hectares of off-season vegetables in this year’ crop.

The authorities of Hong Thai and Da Vi Communes in Na Hang District have directed people to prepare conditions related to soil and fertilizers, and focus on seeding in the optimum growth seasons, as well as taking care of and preventing pests and diseases in order to create favourable conditions for rice growth and development.

This year, the locals of the communes have invested in machines for production. The rate of mechanisation in terms of the soil preparation accounts for more than 80% of the area.

People in Thanh Tuong Commune, Na Hang District apply mechanisation to soil preparation for crop production.

The People’s Committee of Na Hang District has requested specialised departments to coordinate with the relevant units to proactively arrange plant seeding suitable with the conditions of the land, terrain and irrigation capacity of each region.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Na Hang District has mobilised people to focus on manpower and apply mechanisation to production in order to accelerate the cultivation.

In addition, district authorities have directed communes to mobilise households to clear the flows and grass in the canal beds to ensure optimum irrigation and drainage for seasonal rice production.
