Na Hang boosts agricultural consumption linkage chains

TQO - Na Hang District is promoting the development of production linkage models in association with consumption of agricultural products, contributing to increasing the added value of agricultural products.

Initially, the district has formed a number of production linkage chains in association with effective consumption such as Shan Tuyet Hong Thai tea, Da Vi dry vermicelli, Hong Thai safe vegetables, Na Hang specialty fish and Khau Tinh off-season vegetables, etc.

Hong Thai Shan Tuyet tea has been sold widely both inside and outside the province. This tea was recognised as OCOP four-star standard product. In 2020, Son Tra Cooperative has purchased and consumed more than 48 tonnes of fresh tea buds from local households with the value of agricultural products reaching over VND4.3 billion. Currently, the cooperative has sent tea samples to the US and France markets to verify the quality. If they meet all the standards, Hong Thai Shan Tuyet tea product will have the opportunity to export to the international markets.

With over 8,000-hectare water surface area of ecological lake, clean natural water source and abundant aquatic diversity has created good conditions for people to develop fisheries. Up to now, there are more than 100 aquaculture households in the district, raising specialty fishes.

In the coming time, the district is focusing on implementing solutions to orient and help farmers, cooperatives and enterprises in boosting agricultural consumption linkage chains.
