Tourist visiting Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve.
Tuyen Quang is among the top provinces in the country in terms of forest cover, accounting for over 65% of the natural land area. As a forestry province, Tuyen Quang has a policy of classifying, protecting and promoting the value of forests. Besides production forests and protection forests, special-use forests are paid special attention. In addition to being the "green lung" of the province, special-use forests also have long-term significance in the development of eco-tourism. Accordingly, Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve was recognised as a special national scenic spot in early 2019.
Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve has an area of over 61,300 hectares, including 8,000 hectares of the lake bed, located in 14 communes and towns of Na Hang and Lam Binh districts. The reserve is located among the great forests along the banks of the Gam and Nang rivers. It has a diverse ecosystem with many rare animals and plants as long as unique cave systems. There are 8 species of monkeys in the reserve, in which the snub-nosed langur and the white-cheeked langur are rare and endemic.
