Tuyen Quang Province only welcomed 1.3 million visitors in 2015, whereas the province greeted over 1.7 million visitors in 2020, an average tourism growth of 10.5% per year, creating job for 16,000 workers.
Tuyen Quang has attracted many large domestic enterprises such as Vingroup, Muong Thanh Group, Sun Group, FLC to survey and invest in long-term tourism projects. In particular, Vingroup is directing units to accelerate the construction of the Vinpearl Tuyen Quang resort project with a total area of nearly 600 hectares. The project items include resort villas, medical examination and treatment area by warm mineral water therapy, hot spring area, service area, golf course and Mimosa eco-tourism village. Vingroup's large-scale project with abundant items is expected to create a new breakthrough for tourism in Tuyen Quang Province.

In addition, dozens of travel agencies in the province are licensed to create domestic, regional and international tours. This will be the advantage to bring tourists to Tuyen Quang in a professional, informal and organised manner.
Tuyen Quang tourism is about to have another big hit thanks to the construction of an expressway project connecting two northern provinces of Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho and Noi Bai–Lao Cai expressway. It will take only 90 minutes for tourists to visit Tuyen Quang when the project completes.
At the same time, expressway connecting Ha Giang with Tuyen Quang is under construction.
Phieng Bung Airport in Nang Kha Commune (Na Hang District) is also part of a planning project of turning Na Hang-Lam Binh Nature Reserve to become tourist centre of the North with a protected area of over 61,300 hectares, including 8,000 hectares of the lake bed.
The tourism connection of 6 provinces of Viet Bac "Cao-Bac-Lang-Thai-Tuyen-Ha" with the province will be closer under the "Crossing the Heritage Lands of the Viet Bac Region" programme.
The province is expected to welcome over 3 million tourists by 2025, total social revenue from tourism will reach VND4,800 billion, creating jobs for 25,000 workers. The province is determined to develop synchronously tourism material and technical facilities and improve the quality of tourism products, meeting the diverse needs of consumers by 2030.
