Excellent Artisan Tieu Son Hoc with an ancient 200-year-old book.

Hoc's family has been a shaman for many generations. For the Cao Lan people, a reputable shaman is assigned the responsibility of managing and protecting the communal house. The keepers communal house must be the most ethical and prestigious person in the village.

Thanks to his prestige, Hoc has communicated and helped people from big to small things such as donating land, paving the way, friction between husband and wife or neighbours, etc. Whatever comes to his hand, the ending is also nice. He shared that he did not have a "secret" for anything sublime, he just said the right things and showed people the right way.

Hoc has also preserved Cao Lan culture. He researched, and then opened a language and writing class by himself for people who love ancient culture.

Doan Ket Hamlet established the Sinh Ca singing club thanks to the help of village elder Tieu Son Hoc.

In 2015, Tieu Son Hoc was one of the first artisans to be awarded the title of Excellent Artisan by the State in preserving Cao Lan culture.
