However, recently, across the country in general and Tuyen Quang province in particular, forest fires have occurred with serious consequences.

The main cause of the fires is that people in the forest use fire carelessly, treat the ground cover for afforestation without supervision, monitoring, and burn trash near the forest, causing the fires to spread. Therefore, the requirement is that grassroots Party committees need to pay more attention to leading propaganda activities, educating people about the risks of forest fires and forest fire prevention measures.

One of the first solutions clearly stated in Plan No. 1209/UBND-KT of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province dated March 23 on strengthening forest management, protection, and forest fire prevention and fighting is to strengthen propaganda, education, and mobilization of people to strictly implement regulations on forest protection. Grassroots Party committees need to seriously concretize this requirement into specific actions for each village and hamlet Party cell, focusing on propaganda and mobilization to promote the role of each family and people to participate in forest protection groups and teams in the community.
