Only in the first 6 months of the year, the economic growth rate of Tuyen Quang Province reached 8.08%, ranking in the top 3 among 11 northern mountainous provinces, and 20 out of 63 provinces and cities in the country. Many indicators increased compared to the plan set out such as gross regional domestic production (GRDP), industrial production value, social revenue from tourism, total retail sales and social services, export value, etc.

Chairman of Trung Son Commune People's Committee, Yen Son District Nguyen Van Dan said that up to now, from the capital of the State and the people's power, 100% of commune roads have been asphalted while over 75% of inter-village roads have been concreted. Trung Son is the leading locality in the whole district in FSC afforestation. Over 2,000 hectares of planted forests in the commune have been granted FCS certificates.
