To quickly overcome the consequences of the recent storm, the Management Board of Clean Water Works in the localities has focused on repairing to ensure sufficient water supply to serve the people.
Comrade Pham Van Toan, Director of the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation, said that the goal is to urgently restore water to the people as soon as possible. The Center requires the Management Board of the Provincial Water Supply Works to cooperate with enterprises supplying materials and equipment to promptly fix problems at the works.
At the same time, the board directed the water supply teams to dredge soil and rocks at the upstream water intake dam, clear the flow; handle and replace damaged or washed-away materials and pipes at the damaged works, he said.
Up to this point, the basic works have been temporarily repaired, and water supply activities have resumed for the people.
