Currently, Thanh's herbal garden has possessed many precious and valuable medicinal plants such as Morinda officianalis, ginger, kaempferia, crinum latifolium, etc.
Specially, many medicinal plants are also used as vegetables with great value for health. Therefore, Thanh's forest garden, in addition to economics, also has a conservation role.
Not only is he passionate about collecting precious medicinal plants, with his experience, physician Hoang Quoc Thanh has supported people in Lam Binh district to exploit precious medicinal resources as well as process them according to standards.
“I want to prove that the forest here is not only suitable for growing medicinal plants but also has the potential to develop tourism.”, Thanh share.
He plans to build a "farmstay" to welcome tourists. In 2024, he will plant a garden of ancient Sa Pa roses, Van Khoi roses as a check-in point.
The wish of Hoang Quoc Thanh, who left the city to grow medicinal herbs in Ban Thang, is to produce many medicinal products from the forest land of the mountainous district of Lam Binh to treat people across the country.
