Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Quang checked the progress of building new-style rural area in Kim Quan commune

On March 8th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee checked the situation of building new-style rural area in Kim Quan commune (Yen Son district). Accompanied by leaders of departments: Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, Finance, Planning and Investment and leaders of Yen Son district.

According to the report of the Kim Quan commune People's Committee, by the end of 2018, the commune has completed 11/19 new-style rural criteria; the remaining 8 criteria has not been completed yet, including difficult criteria such as income, poor households and residential housing. Currently, the average income of the commune only reaches 23 million VND / person / year, 10 million VND lower than the target. The commune still has over 200 poor households and 41 temporary houses.

Speaking at the meeting with the leader of Kim Quan commune, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Quang emphasized that from now until the end of 2019, the requirement for the commune is to complete the remaining 8 criteria, of which there are groups of criteria directly related to people's lives such as production development, poor household eradication, temporary housing eradication ... He suggested related sectors and district leaders to review specifically and accurately needs of each household in order to develop plans and solutions to help and support through practical and effective mechanisms and policies. In order to build a sustainable new-style rural area, it must start from the people, must implement the motto "People do and the Government supports". Its Party committees, authorities, mass organizations need further improvement in information, advocacy and encouraging the people to construct and improve houses, environment and village roads in the direction of solidity and green - clean; to exploit the potentials and advantages of investment in economic development, to create more jobs and increase incomes for people.

Before the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee checked the reality at Lang Thang and Khuon Dien village and gave gifts to some poor households there.
