Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son receives the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Vietnam.

At the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son welcomed to the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Vietnam to visit and work to the province. He also hoped that the ambassador will have great experience in Tuyen Quang.

The chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee introduced and overview of the characteristics, potential, socio-economic development of Tuyen Quang province.

He affirmed that Tuyen Quang has been invested by foreign investors in recent years. The province cooperated with groups and localities of countries, such as Japan, China, and Laos in economic and cultural development.

He expressed his hope that the ambassador will help Tuyen Quang connect to the Czech Republic localities and businesses to promotes the investment in provincial potential fields in the coming time. In 2024, the province will pay a working visit to the Czech Republic to present the potential of Tuyen Quang.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son introduced ‘dan Tinh’ (gourd lute) of the Tay people in Tuyen Quang to the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Vietnam.

The ambassador of the Czech Republic, Hynek Kmoníček affirmed that the relationship between the Czech and Vietnamese people has grown. About 300,000 Vietnamese people has lived and worked in the Czech Republic. This is considered as one of the largest ethnic minority communities in the Czech. Recently, many investors from the Czech Republic into Vietnam are Vietnamese, with a total investment of 3 billion USD. In the future, the Czech will find investment opportunities in provinces of Vietnam, especially Tuyen Quang.

The ambassador of the Czech Republic said that it is necessary to promote cooperation between the two countries as well as among localities. He also expressed his wish that the Czech delegation will attend the Thanh Tuyen festival in the coming time. At the same time, he wanted to welcome Tuyen Quang delegation to participate in activities of the Czech. He said that he hopes Tuyen Quang will promote planning and construction of the airport to create favourite conditions for investors and visitors.

In the afternoon, the ambassador of the Czech Republic visited in Tan Trao special national relic site.
