Van Giang Hamlet, Xuan Van Commune, Yen Son District has 90 households, nearly half of them still maintain tofu making. Over the years, the quality of tofu product in Van Giang retains the traditional delicious taste.

Trinh Thi Thanh in Van Giang Hamlet shared that, making tofu is a sophisticated process. The soybeans chosen to made tofu must have high quality. The soybeans are soaked in water for hours before being ground with water. The soybean milk is filtered, and cooked before being mixed with sour water to become soy curd, which will then be pressed into moulds to produce tofu.

Tofu making helps dozens of households have stable incomes with an average income of VND200,000 - VND300,000 per day.
