Preserving the cultural identity of the Dao Tien

TQO - In 2004, a number of Dao ethnic households in the communes of Na Hang upland district migrated and resettled in Tan Cuong village, Tan An commune (Chiem Hoa). After19 years in the new countryside, interspersed with the indigenous Tay people, but the Dao people have still preserved their cultural identity. Especially, the Dao women have maintained the profession of weaving brocade, dyeing indigo, and embroidering.
