Works on display include parts of ancient shipwrecks, pottery and ceramic items, and worshipping objects, which were dated from the 13th to the 18th centuries.
Most of the objects were found during excavations carried out by the Doan Anh Duong Investment & Development Company in coordination with the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) and local authorities.
The highlight of the exhibits is a collection of hundreds of objects found in a 13th century shipwreck in Binh Chau commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province, which were unveiled in an excavation conducted by the VNMH and the Quang Ngai provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2013.
The exhibition, the largest of its kind to be held in Quang Ngai, is among a series of activities celebrating the 30th anniversary of the province’s establishment (1989-2019).
