The land of Tuyen Quang is proud to preserve a rich traditional cultural value of 22 ethnic groups. Tuyen Quang has 425 intangible cultural heritages of ethnic groups. Among them, 16 intangible cultural heritages were included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In particular, the ritual practice "Then Tay - Nung - Thai Vietnam" was recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

Regarding the field of tangible cultural heritage, the province has 625 historical and cultural relics and rich and unique landscapes. That's why Tuyen Quang is called the "revolutionary museum" of the whole country.

Regarding tangible cultural heritage, in recent years, thanks to investment in restoration, revolutionary historical relics have not only been preserved but also promoted their value. According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, every year the province welcomes over 3 million tourists.

In Tuyen Quang area, many districts have been doing a good task of preserving and integrating ethnic cultural heritage in community tourism development such as Lam Binh, Na Hang, Son Duong. These districts that have exploited Unique cultural features of ethnic groups from costumes, houses, cuisine, and folk songs become unique tourism products that attract domestic and international tourists.
