On the longest pear blossom road in Vietnam recognized by the Guinness World Records Organization, visitors are captivated by the brilliant colors of brocade.

The 2025 beautiful brocade embroidery contest organized by the Na Hang District Women's Union attracted 12 teams from 12 communes and towns. The contestants are all skillful women with extensive experience in embroidery.

Handmade embroidered products are displayed as works of art, from handkerchiefs, handbags to traditional shirts. Each product not only has aesthetic value but is also the result of creativity and hard work.

Mrs. Ban Thi Thu, Khau Trang village, Hong Thai commune, shared that the Dao Tien people often embroider on the back of the fabric to create sharp patterns, so it requires women to be skillful.

As for the Dao Do people, women will skillfully mix colors, but red is still the main color. Ms. Nong Thi Tong, Lung Khieng village, Sinh Long commune, said that for the Dao Do people, wearing traditional costumes is both a matter of pride and honor, and also carries spiritual elements.

The motifs can be stars, leaves, or rhododendrons. But in general, they must follow a certain rule that represents the worldview, outlook on life, philosophy of life, and aesthetic taste of the Dao people.

Their confident eyes and skillful hands seem to express their love and passion for the art of brocade embroidery.
