Accordingly, Brent oil price decreased by 2.4 USD, WTI oil decreased by 2.08 USD. The fluctuation of oil prices was mainly due to economic data from China, the US, US oil inventories and the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.

Domestic gasoline retail prices also continued to decrease specifically as follows: Kerosene price decreased the most, VND374 per liter, followed by diesel oil decreased by VND330 per liter, mazut oil decreased by VND173 per kg. The decrease in gasoline prices was more modest with E5 RON 92 gasoline decreasing by VND108 per liter, RON 95-III gasoline decreasing by VND116 per liter. This is the second consecutive decrease in domestic gasoline prices.

Last week, rice prices increased slightly by VND50 - VND300 per kg for varieties such as OM18, OM380, OM5451, IR50404 and Dai Thom 8. Prices of some vegetables such as ginger and cabbage increased by VND500 - VND6,000 per kg. Prices of fruit trees were stable, except for oranges and lemons, which decreased by VND1,000 per kg compared to last week; prices of livestock products were stable.
