AP1 green hemp product of local people of Tan Thanh Commune (Son Duong) is supported by the KOICA project in association with product consumption.
One of the projects that bring practical effects to the people is the Rural Development Program Project in Tuyen Quang Province using non-refundable aid from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) with a total investment of more than VND426 billion. The objective of the project is to develop comprehensively and sustainably in association with the goal of building a new countryside, reducing poverty sustainably, and improving the quality of life in 17 communes of 6 districts of Son Duong (7 communes), Lam Binh (2 communes), Na Hang (1 commune), Chiem Hoa (1 commune), Ham Yen (4 communes) and Yen Son (2 communes).
In October 2022, the JW Agricultural Product Processing Factory Project was completed on an area of nearly 5 hectares in Phuc Ung industrial cluster with a total investment of nearly VND46 billion. With a design capacity of processing and preserving frozen fruits and vegetables, the factory purchases over 22,000 tonnes of fresh vegetables, tubers and fruits as raw materials for production each year. The factory creates jobs for more than 500 local workers and contributes to supporting the province to strengthen linkages, apply advanced technologies to agricultural production.
In addition, the project "Development of infrastructure to adapt to climate change to support production for ethnic minorities in the northern mountainous and midland provinces" using loans from the Government of Japan (JICA) focuses on: renovating and upgrading 147 km of roads; build, repair and upgrade the system of dams, spillways, sluices and irrigation ditches of 4 water reservoirs, etc. The project is implemented in 6 districts of Lam Binh, Na Hang, Chiem Hoa, Ham Yen, Yen Son and Son Duong.
Foreign-invested projects bring great significance to the province's socio-economic development, contributing to economic growth, improving the infrastructure system and living standard of local people.
