In recent years, Binh Xa Market has been expanded; meanwhile, business services including restaurants, petrol stations and transportation have been developed. The commune has become a transshipment area of goods for other communes in the region. There are dozens of restaurants and hotels for visitors, and nearly 60 trucks for transporting goods in the locality.

In addition, the construction and handicraft sectors have recorded the strong development. The commune has two enterprises specialising in construction materials, six mechanical facilities, 15 automobile and motorcycle repair establishments, 10 wood processing facilities, and 105 handicraft and other service establishments, creating regular jobs for 500 labours and hundreds of seasonal workers.
Binh Xa Commune is famous for its "Binh Xa capon" brand. About 300 local households are raising castrated roosters, of which 50 have organised large-scale farms with 80 - 100 chickens per litter sold at an average price of VND150,000 per kilogramme.
The development of rural trade has contributed to raising income and improving the lives of people in the commune. Currently, the poverty rate of the commune is estimated at 6%, a decrease of 4% compared to 2015. The annual average income of the commune reachedVND36.3 million per person.
