Despite facing adverse weather at the beginning of the crop, the district's peanut yield still reached an average of 33 quintals per hectare.
Tan My is the leading commune of Chiem Hoa district in terms of peanut growing area, with an area of over 215 hectares, mainly L14 and L16 varieties. Peanuts are cared for according to the technical process, so the yield is from 33 quintals to 35 quintals per hectare.
In this season, farmers in the villages helped each other to quickly harvest peanuts.
In the coming time, Chiem Hoa district will continue to encourage farmers to plant the original L14 peanut variety, actively apply scientific and technical advances to production, seek the consumption market in order to increase the income of farmers.
