The dragon fruit hill of Ha Van So from village 5 Thong Nhat, Yen Phu commune (Ham Yen) is supported with an advanced water-saving irrigation system.
The production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery is estimated to increase by an average of over 4% per year in 2023, reaching the resolution target. The accumulated number of new rural areas has reached 74 communes, reaching 87% of the plan for the period 2021 - 2025, it is expected that by 2025 there will be 90 communes meeting new rural standards, one more district achieving new rural areas, exceeding the set target.
The forest cover rate in 2023 is estimated at over 65%. In the period of 2021 - 2023, the province planted over 31,000 hectares of forest, exceeding 8% of the planned target, reaching over 66% of the plan for the whole period of 2021 - 2025.
The province has formed 76 linkages and cooperation in the production and consumption of agricultural products, with 191 OCOP products of 134 subjects, ranking 4th among 14 northern mountainous provinces in terms of the number of OCOP products; 107 products have been protected by the National Office of Intellectual Property, over 200 products are stamped with traceability stamps, 4 products have geographical indications.
The above impressive results confirm that the decisions that have been implemented since the beginning of the term have created momentum for the province's agriculture to make a breakthrough and continue to develop sustainably.
