Huilling Wood Products Co., Ltd. in Thang Quan industrial cluster (Yen Son) produces plywood for export to the US market.

After 3 years of operation, Huilling Wood Products Co., Ltd. in Thang Quan industrial cluster (Yen Son) has created a large number of products. With 2 lines specializing in the production of plywood for export, the company purchases and processes about 15,000 m3 of raw wood every year on average. Currently, the company's high-end plywood products are exported directly to the US market. It is expected that the raw wood processing capacity will increase 1.5 times compared to the current one.

Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company is the number 1 largest wood processing enterprise in the province and continues to expand its operation area. The company is investing in building one more wood processing factory in An Thinh industrial cluster (Chiem Hoa) on an area of 2.9 hectares, with a capacity of 10,000 thousand m3 of raw materials/year.

Tuyen Quang has more than 10 enterprises with operating wood processing factories, of which there are 8 large companies with a processing capacity of 20,000 - 130,000 m3 per year.

An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company is a large company devoping in the field of wood processing. The company is operating 2 production lines: a pulp line with a capacity of 130,000 tonnes per year and a high-class paper line with a capacity of 140,000 tonnes per year. The company is constantly innovating technology lines, diversifying products, creating competitiveness in the market. The company's products such as white pulp, printing paper, writing paper, photocopy paper are being exported to many markets such as India, China, Korea, Japan.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the forestry industry's production value in 2021 reached VND1,600 billion, an average increase of nearly 8% per year, accounting for over 15% of the production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery. By the end of August, the forestry industry's production value is equivalent to 2021, and this figure is expected to increase from now until the end of the year.

Currently, the province has planned 200 thousand hectares of plantations for processing; converting over 40,000 ha from small timber forest to large timber in order to continue to improve the economic value of forestry, creating favourable conditions for the forestry sector and wood processing.
