Developing planting area codes not only helps increase the value of many types of crops but also changes people's awareness and farming practices, shifting towards production according to safety standards.
To be granted a growing area code, the production process of plant products must ensure the following requirements, such as: the growing area must apply cultivation measures, manage harmful organisms and ensure the reduction of harmful organisms. harmful; meets VietGAP standards; have a field diary, fully recording all impacts on crops during a production season, etc.
To date, Tuyen Quang province has 11 crop areas with a total area of 127.1 hectares and 2 product packaging facilities with codes. Of these, 9 codes are eligible for export to the EU market and to China's official market, including tea products of My Lam Tea Joint Stock Company, Song Lo Tea Company and Tea Flavor Cooperative Group.
