The total seafood output in the province has reached 4,331 tonnes, an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period in 2019. Of the total, aquaculture production was estimated at nearly 4,000 tonnes. There are 2,119 fish cages in the province, with 980 of them farming specialty fish and 1,139 farming traditional fish.

In order to assist the consumption of local aquaculture farming households, the provincial authorities have conducted surveys and searches and made connections with organisations and individuals to purchase their seafood in order to promote linkage in the production, processing and consumption of specialty fish of high economic value.
Duy Phat Production and Trading One Member Limited Company has set up two selling locations of clean food in Hanoi, which display many of Tuyen Quang Province’s agricultural products. Since early 2020, the company has cooperated with a number of aquaculture farming households in Na Hang District to place orders of specialty fish in order to meet customers’ demands.
Tin Nguyet aquaculture farming facility in Na Liem Hamlet, Thuong Lam Commune, Lam Binh District, has coordinated with the Clean Food Store at No.2 Phu Doan Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, in order to supply its specialty fish to the store. In addition, the facility has continued to work with restaurants both inside and outside the province to promote its seafood consumption.
Currently, many clean food stores in Tuyen Quang City, such as Tam Huong and Hoang Kim clean food stores, have placed orders with aquatic breeder facilities in the province to establish a fresh and stable supply of fish.
