Son Phu promotes tourism potential

TQO - Son Phu Commune, Na Hang District is blessed with majestic landscapes and fresh climate. Many tourism survey experts assess that Son Phu is like a "raw gem" of Na Hang District that has not yet been discovered.

Son Phu has a system of spectacular caves and waterfalls such as Phia Muon, Me Vang, Nam Chang, Nam Pan, Pac Hau, Vang Bo. Coming to Son Phu, visitors also experience the harvest of ancient Shan Tuyet tea as well as visit primaval forest and poetic bamboo forest.

There are 70% of the Dao people living in the commune. They have still preserved their colourful costumes and cultural identities such as Pao Dung songs and traditional rituals.

Chairman of Son Phu Commune People's Committee Ha Van Duc said that the Commune People's Committee has developed plans and solutions to coordinate with relevant divisions of the district to review, supplement and implement a master plan on tourism and survey tourist spots in order to build tours in Son Phu.

In addition, the commune has effectively exploited typical local products such as corn wine, honey, and dried bamboo shoots.

With the available advantages and appropriate development orientation, Son Phu is expected to become a new and interesting tourist destination in the coming time.
