Keeping forests for tourism development

TQO - At present, the primeval forests in the Tan Trao Special National Relic have preserved the status quo, creating a green ecosystem for the whole landscape of the historical site. Many tourists visiting Tan Trao feel the pristine features in the national relic.


Phieng Bung ecological tourism area, at Nang Kha Commune, is being called for investment by Na Hang District.

Kim Binh special national historical relic (Chiem Hoa) is also preserved forest ecosystems. Every year, the provincial museum and local authorities organised planting of native trees in early spring so that the relics and adjacent residential areas become greener. The communes also provide information to raise aware of protecting forests, protecting the living environment and national cultural identity in building new rural areas, for the people of the villages.

Tuyen Quang is the third largest province in the country in terms of forest coverage. Forests help people have a stable livelihood, avoid natural disasters, floods, landslides, protect watersheds. Due to the good forest and charming natural landscape, the Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve is considered a national special tourist attraction. The reserve covers an area of over 60,000 ha with many rare and endemic flora and fauna in the locality.

With the right direction and effective solutions to "preserve" green destinations, resorts, Tuyen Quang has been effectively exploiting the strengths of tourism.
