The night market continues to attract customers thanks to the diversity of its products, including Shan Tuyet tea, Kia Tang tea, Hong Thai pear, dried bamboo shoots, fermented pork, dried buffalo meat, and wild honey.
Tourists visit and shop at the Na Hang night market.
As Na Hang is a land of diverse cultural features with many ethnic groups living together, the brocade products such as scarves, skirts, and shirts of the ethnic minority people from the Dao, Mong, and San Chi groups has also drawn much interest from customers.
Visitors to Na Hang’s night market can also enjoy shopping for local specialties such as Soi Ha grapefruit, Xuan Van seedless persimmon, Kim Phu guava, Luc Hanh vermicelli, Trang Da custard apple, Phong Tho honey and ‘gai’ cake (glutinous rice cake blackened with a concoction of edible leaves).
Rattan and bamboo-made products including cups, tables, chairs, baskets, and bags on sale at the market are interesting options for those interested in collecting souvenirs.
In addition, tourists can stop by food stalls to taste the unique specialties of Na Hang District such as Anh Vu carp (semilabeo notabilis), fried fish, ‘lang’ fish (hemibagrus), hill chicken dishes, black pig and wild vegetables.
