In 2021, the Northern Mountainous Agro-Forestry Science Institute in collaboration with the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center will pilot the model of "Intensification of tea in the direction of organic, linking along the value chain in some northern provinces" in Hong Thai commune (Na Hang). Thirty-five households of the H'mong ethnic group in Khuoi Phay village, Hong Thai commune grew teas on an area of more than 8 hectares.
According to the plan of restoring cultural identities of ethnic minorities, Lam Binh district has propagated, mobilized and supported people to restore their stilt houses, towards building community tourism products associated with experiencing cultural activities of the H'mong people in Xuan Lap commune.
Phung Thi Sieu's family from Quang Tan village, Yen Lam commune (Ham Yen) was supported by the State with VND50 million to build a new house.
Forty-five households of the Mong ethnic group in Na Pin village, Da Vi commune (Na Hang) were accessed clean water and built standard sanitation facilities, thereby improving the quality of life and protecting people's health.
Twenty-five households of H'mong ethnic group in Tan An village, Dong Tho commune (Son Duong) received television support from the State in order to access the Party's policies and laws of the State.
Thanks to programs and projects to support socio-economic development in the H'mong ethnic people, twenty households in Tan An village, Dong Tho commune were supported 1,200 fighting chickens by the State in 2022, helping people create their livelihoods and stabilize their lives.
In recent years, Na Hang district has implemented many policies for people, especially ethnic minorities, to access capital and techniques to develop fisheries in the reservoir area, thereby contributing to improving the quality of people's living standards.
