Demobilized soldiers will be counseled and introduced to jobs in early January 2024.
Job fair for workers far from home is one of the new forms of job consultation and introduction implemented by the Provincial Employment Service Center from the beginning of 2024. Accordingly, before and after the ancient Lunar New Year Traditionally, the labor and employment situation has many fluctuations. Many workers, after returning home to celebrate Tet, need to change jobs and careers. In order to orient and create jobs for this labor source, the center organized a trading day, connecting online jobs in Northern provinces and cities.
Mr. Hoang Van Tu, Tat Chua village, Yen Nguyen commune (Chiem Hoa) shared that after the Tet holiday, he wanted to find a new job with better income. Through a job fair for workers away from home, he found a new job at an electronic manufacturing company in Bac Giang just as he wanted.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh, Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, said that along with consulting and online job introduction activities, the center also promotes job introduction and propaganda information in many forms such as communicating through social networks, website vieclamtuyenquang.net, distributing leaflets, organizing job sessions, job fairs, etc. This activity contributes to timely information about state policies and regulations on labor and help workers find jobs that suit their personal conditions. This is a practical activity that contributes to solving the employment problem for workers in localities after the Tet holiday, thereby reducing the unemployment rate in the area.
Promoting the implementation of job transactions right from the beginning of the year has created an exciting atmosphere for workers, helping businesses find and supplement labor sources to develop production and business. Ms. Ly Thi Hai Hien, Head of the Labor Department, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs emphasized that to complete the goal of creating jobs for 22,500 workers in 2024, the Department will strengthen urging and direction of the Service Center. The incident caused the province and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of districts and cities to review and grasp the labor situation, provide timely support, and minimize the number of workers who lost jobs and could not find jobs.
