Comrade Chau Thi Thu, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said: “During the Workers' Month, the provincial unions at all levels focus on the following contents: Implementing the program of higher productivity - better welfare; organizing the peak month for union member development, establishing grassroots unions, introducing outstanding union members to the Party; propagating to raise awareness among union members and workers about the Party Congresses at all levels, about the opportunities and challenges in the current period. Each activity, each initiative, each work of union officials must aim to improve the working environment, enhance welfare, and stimulate creativity for workers”.

The Provincial Federation of Labor awarded funds to support Union Shelters for union members and workers.

The Workers' Month took place from the end of April to May 31. At the launching program, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded funding to build Union Shelters for 6 union member families with difficult housing circumstances with a total value of VND270 million; presented 200 gifts, each worth VND500,000 to union members and employees in difficult circumstances.

Sharing her feelings when receiving support to build a Union Shelter house, Ms. Lam Thi Hong, Seshin VN2 LLC, emotionally said: “Today I received support from the union, I have more funds to rebuild the old dilapidated house I am currently living in. My husband and I are very happy, I can only say thank you to the unions at all levels. I will try harder in my work to contribute to helping the Company's production activities achieve higher productivity, quality and efficiency”.

Promoting the role of representing and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of workers, grassroots unions under the Provincial Industrial Park Union have had many practical activities during Workers' Month such as propagating and disseminating legal policies; medical examination and health consultation for workers; cultural and sports exchanges.

For each grassroots union, the organization of activities in response to Workers' Month is carried out with many activities that are suitable to the reality and flexible of the unit. Comrade Dao Thi Mai Huong, Chairwoman of Yen Son District Labor Federation, said: "From the beginning of April 2025, the District Labor Federation has developed a plan and guided grassroots unions at all levels to organize Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month activities towards the grassroots and towards union members. Up to now, there are 156 grassroots unions organizing cultural and sports activities and organizing tours and vacations for union members and workers. For Workers' Month alone, the District Labor Federation has established 2 new grassroots unions with nearly 150 union members and workers; organized the giving of 220 gifts, each worth VND500,000 VND".

The practical activities in response to Workers' Month 2025 by trade unions at all levels have created trust, concern and care from the whole society for union members and workers. At the same time, they have promoted the pioneering spirit and responsibility of the trade union organization in the new period.
