VFF President extends sympathy to Cuba over oil tank explosion

TQO - On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC), Secretary of Party Central Committee and President of the VFFCC Do Van Chien sent a message of sympathy to member of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee Gerardo Hernández Nordelo (who is also a Hero of the Republic of Cuba and National Coordinator of the Committees for the Defence of the Revolution (CDR) of Cuba) regarding the severe losses caused by a massive blaze in an oil storage facility in Cuba’s Matanzas Province on August 5.

In his message, Chien expressed his belief that with the leadership of senior leaders of Cuba, together with the solidarity of the people, Cuba will soon overcome the consequences caused by the accident and continue the construction of a prosperous and strong nation.
