For the Cao Lan people, Sinh ca singing is extremely familiar. Right from the moment a child is born, Sinh ca melodies have been resounding, nurturing the soul, and then gradually seeping into the consciousness.

On spring days, festivals or when going to the fields, Sinh Ca songs are performed again by local people.

Chi Thiet commune currently has over 55% of the population being Cao Lan ethnic people. Since 2015, each village has established a Sinh ca singing group with many members.

"Sinh ca is considered their soul, with sweet lyrics combined with the dance of shoveling shrimps and birds, which is an indispensable form of folk art in festivals and daily life of the Cao Lan people. We also hope that the activities not only bring knowledge and understanding of the quintessence of the nation but also contribute to inspiring the souls of the Cao Lan people", Nguyen Hong Diep, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee said.

Sinh ca songs are not only imbued with love for the homeland, country, and love between couples, but also contain aspirations for a happy life. Moreover, they also carry a profound humanistic value that fully reflects the reality of life and the spiritual world of the Cao Lan people.
