Brocade blankets of the Tay people are one of the unique tourism products in Tuyen Quang.

According to the Tay people in Tuyen Quang, before getting married, Tay girls will weave towels, pillows, and blankets as gifts to give their parents-in-law. Therefore, their family pay great attention to teaching young Tay girls to weave brocade.

Trieu Thi Xuong in Na Tong Hamlet, Thuong Lam Commune (Lam Binh) said that her family has been developing homestay for nearly 10 years. To attract tourists, she gives priority to introduce local products such as bamboo utensils (cups, trays, kettles...), brocade products (blankets, pillows, tablecloths). Among these products, brocade blankets make their own mark with visitors.

The main colors in the brocade blanket are white, red, blue, yellow, purple. These colors are all extracted from natural leaves in the mountains. Brocade patterns are often decorated with the shapes of rectangular, squares, triangles, and a combination of turtles, trees, flowers, etc.
