People in Son Thuy village, Yen Thuan commune grow tea trees following VietGap standards.
According to the commune's report, not including other crops and livestock, just counting the three main trees: forest, tea and citrus fruit trees, people have planted more than 2,000 hectares with a very large transport volume.
Convenient transportation and trade create conditions for people to develop economic models with high economic efficiency such as the four-season lemon, V2 oranges, tea, etc.
“With the support of the State and proactive family economic development, by the end of 2023, the commune's average income per capita will reach VND42 million per person per year. Poor households and near-poor households are gradually being pushed back." - Chairman of Commune People's Committee Ma Van Tien said.
Yen Thuan commune is demonstrating the "change" from the State's investment interest combined with the power of the People in infrastructure construction and economic development. This is a step to accelerate the process of building new rural areas in Yen Thuan highland commune.
