Tau Lin Hamlet has 93 households, of which 90% of population is H'mong people. There are nearly 20 households keeping honeybees, earning from VND40 to VND50 million per year.

The H'mong people in Tau Lin only choose domestic bee variety to raise. As a result, honey is the crystallization of many types of wild flowers with good quality. On average, farmers collects 100-200 liters of honey a year. The selling price is about VND150,000 per liter.
Tau Lin honey flavour has its own characteristics. Once tasting, people will find a sweet but not overwhelming taste. Especially, when swallowing down the throat, diners still feel the sweetness lingering on the tip of the tongue. Honey does not have a sour taste, so it can be preserve for a long time.
Up to now, Tau Lin honey has been consumed both inside and outside the province such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Chairman of the People's committee of Hung Loi Commune Linh Van Chi said that the number of beekeepers in the locality has increased to 180 households, mostly in the hamlets of Tau Lin, Bum Ken, and Lang Chuong. Recently, the commune has implemented many solutions to promote this special wild honey.
