Tuyen Quang’s industrial parks promote COVID-19 prevention

TQO - Currently, industrial zones and clusters in Tuyen Quang Province have deployed synchronous measures to prevent COVID-19 infection for workers.

The province possesses 2 industrial zones, namely Long Binh An and Son Nam, and 5 other industrial complexes, including Phuc Ung (Son Duong), An Thinh (Chiem Hoa), Khuon Phuon (Na Hang), Thang Quan (Yen Son) and Tan Thanh (Ham Yen).

Immediately after the epidemic reappeared in Da Nang, local industrial zones and clusters began urgently investigating and tracing their workers who have returned from the epidemic-hit areas to coordinate with local authorities to conduct isolation according to regulations on the workers. At the same time, they informed employees about the basic pandemic prevention steps issued by the Ministry of Health, as well as asking them to install the Bluezone mobile app to detect and prevent the risk of infection in the community.

An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company has over 800 labourers. The company’s leaders have directed their workshops, shifts and production teams to carry out body temperature measurements for workers before each shift, as well as strengthening inspection to ensure they wear face masks and practice hand hygiene and disinfection according to regulations.

In Thang Quan industrial cluster, all four factories of Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company with more than 1,700 workers have complied well with regulations on COVID-19 prevention.

Currently, businesses in local industrial zones and clusters are striving to seek ways to ensure their raw materials for production, while expanding their consumption markets amid COVID-19, contributing to improving industrial production value in the province.
