The company currently owns more than 400 hectares of high-quality tea, which is 100% properly cared for, recording high productivity. Tea products have pure natural flavors which differ from the same products in other localities. In 2013, the company expanded a modern tea processing factory with a capacity of 50-70 tonnes of fresh buds per day, over 60% of which is for export. Its tea products have met domestic consumption and export demand.

The company has been regularly organising training courses, on techniques and technological transfer, for the staff to help them apply appropriate methods and techniques to take good care of new tea plants. As a result, over 70% of their staff are skilled workers, with an average income of over VND45 million per year. The tea plant has also helped them successfully escape from poverty.

According to Director General of the Tan Trao Tea JSC, Hoang Thanh Tan, the company considers the consuming market as an important factor. Over the past years, Tan Trao company has always paid due attention to seeking and expanding consuming markets, considering it as a decisive stage for production and business results. The company has also renovated its management and business methods, and production with high technology. The company aims at improving the reputation of the Tuyen Quang tea brand as well as helping it become a popular high-quality tea brand known by domestic and foreign consumers.

In 2016, Tan Trao tea was granted Rainforest Alliance (a sustainable agriculture programme for public health) certification so that the product could qualify for export. In 2017, the company won the title of “Prestigious Export Enterprise”, an award approved and announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In the near future, the company will continue to expand its production lines, stabilise raw material areas, replace low-yield tea areas with high-yield and high-quality tea varieties, and expand the procurement of raw materials, in order to further improve its production and business efficiency.
