In order to protect, harvest and take care of 64 hectares of tea, including hundreds of over-100-year-old tea trees, the commune established Son Tra Hong Thai Cooperative in 2016.
Currently, the cooperative has 4 high-class tea products, meeting the needs of consumers. Especially, Son Tra Hong Thai tea product has been widely consumed in the markets of Tuyen Quang, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Thanh Hoa, ect.
Ancient tea trees in Khau Trang Hamlet are precious raw materials for the Son Tra tea production.
A tea production line with Taiwanese gas-fired technology was put into service by Son Tra Hong Thai Cooperative.
The quality of tea products is always strictly checked.
The H'mong and Dao ethnic minority people in Na Mu Hamlet harvesting fresh tea buds.
