Socio-economic development results in 2022 and targets in 2023

TQO - Followings are the socio-economic development results in 2022 and the goals for 2023 of Tuyen Quang Province:

1. Results of socio-economic development in 2022

- Economic - Financial Group:

+ Growth rate of gross domestic product (GRDP), an increase of 8.66%.

+ Gross domestic product (GRDP) per capita at current prices reached VND51.6 million per person per year.

+ Budget revenue reached VND2,738.16 billion.

- Industry - Transport

+ Industrial production value increased by 16.6%.

+ Completing 227km of rural roads and 39 bridges on rural roads.

- Tourism - Trade, services

+ Attracting over 2,372 thousand tourists; Social revenue from tourism is VND2,475 billion.

+ Total retail sales of social goods and services is VND28,500 billion.

+ Value of service industries increased by 8.5%.

- Agriculture, forestry and fishery:

+ The production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 4.37%; food production reached over 34.5 thousand tons.

+ Planting forests is 11,590.5 ha, reaching 114.8 % of the plan.

+ The rate of forest cover reaches 65.2%.

+ There are 8 more communes that meet the new rural standards, the total number of which is 62 communes that meet the new rural standards.

- Culture - Health - Education

+ Rate of households achieving the title of cultural family is 90%; villages, hamlets and residential quarters achieved the cultural title of 85%; agencies, units and enterprises meet 95% cultural standards; new construction, upgrading and repair of 69 cultural houses associated with sports grounds and campus.

+ The rate of malnourished children under 5 years old accounts for 22.4%; the number of hospital beds/10,000 people reached 37.7 beds; there are 9.1 doctors/10,000 people; the percentage of people with health insurance cards reached 95.65%.

+ Continuing to improve the quality of teaching and learning at all levels; maintaining 100% of communes, wards and townships to maintain universal education at all levels. The rate of schools meeting the national standards of elementary school level 50.0%, high school 69.8%, lower secondary school 63.8%, high school 28.6%.

- Labor and employment - Social security:

+ Number of employees created jobs is 21,680 employees; the rate of trained laborers reached 65.0%, of which 24% had diplomas and certificates; the rate of employees participating in social insurance is 31.5%.

+ The rate of poor households according to the multidimensional poverty line decreased by 3.48%.

2. Socio-economic development goals in 2023:

- Economic - Financial Group:

+ The rate of gross domestic product (GRDP) in the province increases by 9.0% compared to 2022.

+ Gross domestic product (GRDP) per capita is over VND55.7 million per person per year.

+ State budget revenue reaches over VND3,200 billion.

- Industry - Transport

+ Industrial production value increases by 15.4%.

+ Completing the construction of 39 bridges on rural roads and concreting 228.8 km of rural roads.

  - Tourism - Trade, service

+ Attracting over 2,500 thousand tourists, tourism social revenue reaches VND3,000 billion.

+ Total retail sales of goods and services reaches VND29,000 billion.

+ The production value of service industries increases by 9%.

- Agriculture, forestry, fishery

+ The production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery reaches VND10,793 billion, an increase of over 4.6% compared to 2022; food production reached over 34.0 thousand tons.

+ Newly planted 9,700 ha of concentrated forest.

+ The rate of forest cover reaches over 65%.

+ Maintaining the quality of the criteria of 62 communes meeting the new rural standards and there are 8 more communes completing the new rural standards.

- Culture - Health - Education

+ 90.6% of total households achieves the title of cultural family; 86.6% of villages, residential quarters and 95% of agencies, units and enterprises meet cultural standards.

+ The rate of malnourished children under 5 years old is 21.6%; 95.4% of communes, wards and townships meet the national criteria for commune health; the number of hospital beds per 10,000 people reached 37.4 beds; there are 9.4 doctors/10,000 people.

+ Continuing to improve the quality of teaching and learning at all levels; 100% of communes, wards and townships maintain the educational level of all levels. Striving to achieve the rate of national standard schools of all grades: elementary school 55.3%, high school 74.2%, lower secondary school 67.8%, high school 31.4%.

- Labor, employment - Social security:

+ The number of employees to be increased jobs is 22,200 people; the rate of trained workers is 67.5%, of which 26% have degrees and certificates.

+ The rate of poor households according to multidimensional standards decreases by over 3.5%.
