Many new houses are built in the locality thanks to labor export.
Vice Chairman of Tien Bo Commune People's Committee Tran Van Su said that, the movement to export labor in the commune started in 2010.
To date, the commune has more than 50 export labors, mainly in Malaysia, Taiwan, Dubai, Japan, Korea, and Russia. In 2022, the commune had 8 export workers. In the first three months of 2023, there are 2 export workers.
Every month, each laborer sends 500 USD - 1,000 USD to his family back home, this money will be used by the family to build houses, save, and invest in economic activities.
In addition, when returning home, they have contributed a part of their earnings to jointly build their homeland such as upgrading village roads and welfare works. Some people have invested in established facilities of wood production, mechanics, truck service to create jobs for many local workers.
Labor export has helped Tien Bo commune to change the commune’s appearance as well as improve people’s living standards, contributing to building a new countryside for the locality.
