After a long period of practical research, Yen Son Town Farmers' Association and Yen Son District Agriculture, Forestry and Services Cooperative decided to bring passion fruit trees for trial planting in some localities such as Yen town. Son, Kien Thiet commune (Yen Son), Thai Hoa (Ham Yen), Ha Lang (Chiem Hoa).

In August 2023, the passion fruit tree began to take root in the new land and grow well. Up to now, it is producing its first batch of fruit with quite good yields.

Initially, only 7 households in the Yen Son District Agriculture, Forestry and Service Cooperative participated in growing passion fruit trees. Now, there are over 10 households helping each other develop and expand the growing area to an area of ​​over 5 hectares.

Along with supporting seedlings and biological products to prevent pests and diseases, Yen Son District Agriculture, Forestry and Services Cooperative also associates with Clean Agriculture Supply Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) to ensure product output consumption.

Unlike many other crops that take a lot of time to care for, passion fruit trees are grown organically to help farmers save investment costs as well as time for fertilization.
