The province's industrial production has seen impressive growth.

According to a report by the Provincial People's Committee, the province's industrial production value in the past 5 months is estimated to reach VND9,332.3 billion, reaching 39.3% of the plan, an increase of 18.3% over the same period in 2023, an increase of 24.7 % compared to the previous reporting period.

Some main products increased over the same period such as: diameter, export paper, leather shoes; cement, refined wood, etc.

Localities focus on sowing spring crops at the right time. Accordingly, the rice cultivation area is 18,419.5 hectares, reaching 101.8% of the plan; 8,261.6 hectares of corn seeds, reaching 102.7% of the plan; Continue to take care of 3,629.9 hectares of orange, tea, and grapefruit trees according to standards and regulations.

The province accelerated the implementation of the 2024 afforestation plan. By mid-May, the province had planted 6,414.1 hectares.

Seafood production in May is estimated to reach 505 tons, in the first 5 months of 2024 it will reach 6,200 tons, equal to 43.1% of the plan, up 21.7% compared to the previous reporting period.

Total retail sales of goods, consumer service revenue and wholesale revenue are estimated to reach VND16,081 billion, equal to 45.9% of the plan, an increase of 11.1% over the same period in 2023.

In the past 5 months, the province attracted 1,487,500 tourists, reaching 54% of the year plan, and revenue reached VND1,701 billion.

The province has issued new establishment registration certificates to 122 businesses, reaching 34.37% of the plan, an increase of 41.86% over the same period with a registered capital of over VND767,073 billion.

Along with that, effectively implement Resolutions, plans and projects on developing transport infrastructure, dynamic urban areas and information technology infrastructure, on digital transformation, and building electric power. Towards digital government, period 2021 - 2025, orientation to 2030 and Planning for the Northern midlands and mountainous regions in the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050; Tuyen Quang province planning period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050 with the goal of allocating reasonable resources to develop according to set goals and orientations.
