Leaders of Khang Nhat commune and Khuon Phay village discussed with people about developing afforestation.

The commune has also fully implemented the support policies of the Central and the province for forest planters such as: training in techniques for planting and caring for forests, supporting preferential loans to develop forestry growing profession, Support high quality forestry tree varieties, etc.

Supporting high-quality seedlings has helped people have a source of quality seedlings to help forest trees grow stably, reducing the risk of planted forests dying due to purchasing unreliable sources of seedlings.

Currently, Khang Nhat commune possesses 994 households, more than 90% of households maintain and develop afforestation. The total area of production forest land of the commune is more than 2,100 hectares, the forest coverage rate is over 75%.

Thanks to the development of afforestation combined with animal husbandry and production, building integrated economic models, the quality of life of people in the area is increasingly improved, the rate of poor households has decreased significantly.
